Review Policy

Industrial Innovation uses an online submission and review system. The submission and peer review of every article must be managed using this system and based on the following Peer Review Policy.

Selection of papers
The Industrial Innovation Editorial Board is responsible for ensuring that the peer-review process is fair and timely. The selection of papers is based on the scientific quality of the content, and the topic must clearly fall within the focus and scope of Industrial Innovation.

Selection of reviewers
The Industrial Innovation Editorial Board will select reviewers with suitable expertise in the relevant field and will review all disclosures of potential conflicts of interest to determine whether there is any potential for bias.
Research articles must typically be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers, and where necessary, the Industrial Innovation Editorial Board may seek additional opinions, such as involving a third reviewer.
The Industrial Innovation Editorial Board follows best practice guidance provided by the Publisher to avoid the selection of fraudulent peer reviewers.

Review process and transparency
The review process considers novelty, objectivity, methodology, scientific impact, conclusions, and references. Reviewers' comments will be sent to the corresponding author for necessary revisions and responses. The Editorial Board will evaluate the reviewers’ comments and then communicate the final decision regarding the submission to the corresponding author, based on the reviewers’ recommendations.
The Industrial Innovation Editorial Board, authors, and reviewers shall use the electronic submission system for all journal communications and make appropriate use of plagiarism screening powered by Turnitin.

Confidentiality
The Industrial Innovation Editorial Board shall protect the confidentiality of all material submitted to the journal and all communications with reviewers. The Editorial Board will also ensure that reviewers are unaware of the identity of the authors, and authors are likewise unaware of the identity of reviewers (double-blind review method).

Disclosure and conflicts of interest
The Industrial Innovation Editorial Board follows the journal’s policy relating to the disclosure of conflicts of interest by authors and reviewers.
Authors and reviewers will receive support and guidance from the Industrial Innovation Editorial Board throughout the publishing process.
